Aloo Tikki: questions people ask

Why does my aloo tikki break while frying?

The potatoes were too wet or the tikkis were not chilled. Use dry, cold potatoes, add a spoon of cornflour or breadcrumbs, and chill before frying.

Can I make aloo tikki in an air fryer?

Yes. Brush with oil and air-fry at 200°C for about 12 minutes, turning halfway.
